Rules
1)
The ball will be size four (4).
2) Maximum number of players on the field shall be Six (6) for boys
and (6) for girls. Goalkeepers are used. If one team does not have the
maximum number players, teams must play even up soccer.
3) Unlimited substitutions:
1) Prior to a throw-in, your team's
2) Prior to a goal-kick by either team
3) After a goal by either team
4) After an injury on either team when referee stops play
5) At half time.
4) Play Time: The game shall be two (2) halves of 25 minutes each with
a five (5) minute half time. Each player shall play a Minimum of 50%
of the total playing time.
5) Players equipment: Each player shall wear league shirt,
shorts and socks for all league games. Sweats may be worn underneath
uniforms. Socks must show so referee may see color. Each player must
wear shin guards for all practices & games. Tennis shoes and
rounded cleats must be worn. NO JEWELRY OF ANY TYPE. NO HARD
HAIR BANDS, HATS OR SUN GLASSES. Water bottle a must.
6) Referees: Registered Referees will be used. If none
available, coaches must do their own games. Each team shall be
responsible for officiating one half of the game. All referee's
decisions on points of fact with the game shall be final. The referee
shall explain all rule infractions briefly to the offending player.
Linesmen: None shall be provided nor needed.
7) Start of Play, Free kicks and penalty kicks will take place
with all players at least 8 yards away from the ball. All other
procedures on these items shall conform to FIFA
rules & regulations. Kicks shall be either indirect or direct
depending upon FIFA.
8) No Off sides shall be called by referee. Although referee
may call an offside position if he deems the player is being coached
to remain in offside position. All players need to move about the
field.
9) Ball in and out of play, method of scoring, throw-ins, goal kicks,
corner kicks shall be conform to FIFA.
10) Fouls and misconduct: Rules of FIFA
shall apply as well as NP United sportsmanship guidelines. The referee
shall explain all infractions to offending player.
11) THERE SHALL BE NO SLIDE TACKLES or ROUGH & OUT OF CONTROL
PLAY
12) Spectators must sit
along the outside sidelines. No
one will be permitted to sit or stand and coach on the goal ends or
between the playing fields. This is distracting for players
as well as coaches trying to get the players to do what is needed. |
