Introduce newly appointed
board members. Present for the meeting: Scott Jeske,
Wayne Jones, Phil Melangton, Rob Flask, Kim Campbell,
Jennifer Waters, Loree Barnes, Jeff Meyer, Stephanie Neier, Janet Hilton, John Box, Joshua Alexander, Dan Heighway, and Brent Whalen.
II. Treasurer Report

For fall, wants to go back
through numbers to see if uniforms are the reason for the loss of funds in the
fall. Also, checking the allocation of scholarship
funds and IYSA monies. Concessions and snack pack provided a gain,
but minimal. Referee scheduling/payment was doubled in some places, so
that needs to be re-visited.
III. Executive Board Updates:

Met 2 weeks
ago with John Box to outline February training schedule for all teams. Hoping to be outdoors by
March 1st. All teams are registered and cleared for
play. In the process of entering tournaments – all teams are doing

Coaches/Team
Rep meeting March 20. Penciled in on the school schedule. Set to begin at
6:00. Neighboring schools have a lot of certification programs going on,
so we can still plug in and get certification for new coaches. Still trying to get Vince to come on a Saturday to work with the
coaches. Reserving cafeteria and gym to
facilitate Team Rep meeting at the same time.

Volunteers for registration
still needed on Saturdays and on the Thursday
night we need extra (1/28, 2/11 & 2/23).
Need registration forms and other hand
outs. (200 copies)
How/Where registration is
being advertised – need to correct the date that the NP Press has
printed. The Dick’s coupons will be handed out during registration.
Clarify eligible age for play
to all board members. (4 years by January 1, 2006)
New uniform policy is on website.

registrations.

coordinate teams once registration is finalized. Able to utilize IYSA’s system. We need to explore whether we
can do game schedules on the IYSA system, and how to work in rain dates.

Anticipating getting the
grounds leveled this summer following the converging of the 2 plans. We
may want to look into further sponsorship to be prepared to cover our
costs. 861-5721 (Michelle Murphy) will let us know when the next Park

John Box is coordinating the
goals to be placed with the help of the high school groundskeepers. Planning to move the U12 field for travel to the JV field.
U10 field can also move to JV in the spring, but not available in the
fall. May be able to swap U10 and U8 to change the size
of the U10 travel field.

the list of team reps prior to March 20th meeting.

Need a list of what uniforms
are available now, and decide what to order prior to first game.

Everything is set with 5
teams. Indoor practices are set for February. Uniforms for ’06-’07
have to be in holding (pre-ordered) by a specific date. Projecting that there
will be 7-9 teams in the fall. Possibly look at something other than
Adidas. Also, look into a spring tryout process.

Working on new policies and
procedures for the travel section, and will include a grievance committee to
keep complaints coming to the Travel League. Also, outline try-out
procedures, first aid procedures, etc. to cover the club. Has a new
rating system to implement for the Rec League that
would help increase communications with the Recreation Coaches.

key dates to the schools and NP Press to be published. Continue to let
him know if things need changed or updated. Scholarship registration is
available online now.

the IYSA meeting over Super Bowl weekend. Will report back any pertinent information.
